No. Bamboo starts out softer than cotton, and the more you wash it, the softer it feels.

Can Sweat Heaven products dry without using a clothes dryer?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our bamboo fabric is very breathable and dries quickly on its own. If semi-saturated, our sweatbands can dry in 45-60 minutes in partial sun at 83 degrees or higher with a soft breeze. If fully saturated, squeeze or shake them to release excess moisture first, or use a clothes dryer to dry them quickly.

If I dry my wristbands in the clothes dryer, will they shrink?

If you dry them on high heat or wash them in hot water, they will shrink. Sweat Heaven recommends washing with warm water and tumble drying on low. Take care of them and they will take care of you.

No. Sweat Heaven sweatbands will not tear or wear out faster than cotton sweatbands. Bamboo is stronger than cotton - the fibers derived from bamboo are some of the strongest, softest, and most absorbent natural fibers available.

What should I do to prevent my towel from snagging?

Wash your towels in plain hot water immediately after purchase. This tightens the weave and diminishes snagging. If a snag does occur, cut it off with scissors at the level of the pile to reduce future snagging or unraveling.
