We Support Virginia’s Elite Women Tennis Players
Virginia is home to some of the best women athletes, especially in tennis. Sweat Heaven is all about supporting these amazing women tennis players. Our founders, Rosita Torres and Jacqueline Turner are female tennis players themselves. Take Louisa Chirico, for example. She’s from New York and went to the University of Virginia, a hotbed for professional tennis players.
UVA has produced tons of talented female tennis players, and they’ve made waves on the national and international scene. Emma Navarro who supports Sweat Heaven is making us all proud. She just reached the quarterfinals at Wimbledon, taking down Coco Gauff, who’s ranked number two in the world.
Another female athlete to talk about is Lulu Sun from New Zealand. She is a shining example of Virginia’s athletic prowess. Here is a picture of her proudly supporting our products. Lulu Sun, who wore our wristbands this year at Women’s Open and praised their softness and absorption. Lulu made it to Wimbledon this year, showcasing her skill on an international stage.
Danielle Collins and Emma Navarro, both graduates of the University of Virginia, are going to the Olympics to represent our country. They were both number one singles players at UVA and have shown incredible talent on the court. Emma won it in 2023 while Danielle won it in 2014 and 2016.
The USTA Challenger in Virginia is another big deal, and Sweat Heaven is supporting the event. The Women’s Challenger at the Boars Head Club showcased top talents in April, with Sweat Heaven as their partner.
And let’s not forget the Westwood Club in Richmond. It’s where the first professional women’s tournament, the Virginia Slims, was held, founded by none other than Billie Jean King. Sweat Heaven is thrilled to support tennis in Virginia, including events like the Thailhimer’s Challenger, coming up in September 2025, sponsored by the Richmond Tennis Association.
