What makes bamboo better than cotton?

For breathability, softness, and comfort, bamboo has the edge over cotton, and it is a stronger fiber so it lasts longer. Bamboo can absorb three times its weight, making it a remarkable natural absorbent material, and it releases absorbed moisture much more quickly than cotton, so it is superior in both absorbency and drying time versus even the finest organic cotton. Bamboo is also the fastest growing plant in the world - the Moso species used for fabric grows up to 3 feet in 24 hours with no irrigation and no pesticides.

Are Sweat Heaven products just for tennis players?

Absolutely not. Any activity that requires dry hands for performance will benefit from the natural characteristics of bamboo - tennis of course, but also pickleball, basketball, football, hockey, weight lifting, yoga, biking, rowing, kayaking and more.

Will Sweat Heaven wristbands get stiff from multiple washings like cotton sweatbands?

No. Bamboo starts out softer than cotton, and the more you wash it, the softer it feels.

Can Sweat Heaven products dry without using a clothes dryer?

Yes. Our bamboo fabric is very breathable and dries quickly on its own. If semi-saturated, our sweatbands can dry in 45-60 minutes in partial sun at 83 degrees or higher with a soft breeze. If fully saturated, squeeze or shake them to release excess moisture first, or use a clothes dryer to dry them quickly.

If I dry my wristbands in the clothes dryer, will they shrink?

If you dry them on high heat or wash them in hot water, they will shrink. Sweat Heaven recommends washing with warm water and tumble drying on low. Take care of them and they will take care of you.

The wristbands feel feather soft. Will they tear or wear out faster than cotton sweatbands?

No. Sweat Heaven sweatbands will not tear or wear out faster than cotton sweatbands. Bamboo is stronger than cotton - the fibers derived from bamboo are some of the strongest, softest, and most absorbent natural fibers available.

Other athletic performance wear advertises odor resistance without bamboo. What is the difference?

Competitors often use fabrics treated with chemicals sprayed onto the fibers at the mill to create artificial odor resistance. Sweat Heaven relies on bamboo's naturally occurring moisture-management properties instead - no added chemicals required. Bamboo's structure wicks moisture away and reduces the damp conditions that cause odor, keeping your gear fresher longer, naturally.

What should I do to prevent my towel from snagging?

Wash your towels in plain hot water immediately after purchase. This tightens the weave and diminishes snagging. If a snag does occur, cut it off with scissors at the level of the pile to reduce future snagging or unraveling.

I bought several of the wrist bands and could not be happier with them. They are soft, absorbent and durable. Unfortunately, for Sweat Heaven, it seems like I won't be buying new ones soon because they never wear out! Unlike other cotton wristbands I've used, these have retained their elasticity and still fit snugly after numerous washings over two years! One caution: they don't seem to stretch over time and remain snug. I would not downsize.

So apparently I was the first to get a customized head band and it turned out awesome. It did take a little while longer mainly for tweaking the logo and getting it right but it was definitely worth it. In addition to adding whatever logo you can also just buy them out right and these headbands really are awesome. I dont have sweat in my eyes anymore so thats cool.

I loved Working with RoSita, The customization done on my sweat band is pretty amazing. I like the fact that I can customize it with my initials just to make it more unique for a couple of dollars more. The material used in the sweat band is what really attracted me , they use a combination of organic bamboo and cotton, which is pretty hard to find in this athletic world where most of the products use polyester or nylon. I would really like natural materials like bamboo and cotton to soak my sweat directly rather than synthetic products, which don’t do a good job either.
